§1 Naming
Nicknames must not contain any offensive, insulting, pornographic, forbidden, provocative or protected names or parts of names. Identity theft is prohibited. Fictitious persons are excluded from this regulation.
Penalty for Violation: Immediate request to change name within 24 hours.
Failure to follow this request will result in a permanent ban.
§2 Profile pictures

§3 Behavior in text chat and voice chat
Dealing with other Discord users should always be friendly. Conversations about content unsuitable for young people are not welcome on our server (e.g. drugs or violence). Conversations about topics that go against the laws in force in Germany are prohibited. Attacks against other users are strictly prohibited.

§4 Sharing files or links in general
Spreading and sharing files or links is only permitted within the meaning of the laws applicable in Germany.
§4.1 Sharing of files or links on the server
The sharing and dissemination of links, files or content with insulting, violent, se*istic, homophobic, racist, anti-Semitic, misleading, fraudulent or other content unsuitable for young people is prohibited on our server .

§4.2 Exceptions to shared content
Pictures and videos you have taken yourself may be shared in any file format in any way without limitation. Only links from official, licensed and safe websites may be shared. Sharing links to uploaded files on file hosters, cloud services and the like is prohibited. Hiding URLs is forbidden.
§5 Recordings
The recording of conversations and the recording of videos that contain them is only permitted on the entire server after consultation with the users of the corresponding channel who are present. If a member does not agree to the recording, the recording of the conversation is prohibited.

Streaming online lessons is not permitted.

§6 Blocking of team members and bots
Blocking of team members and bots is forbidden.

§6.1 Disrespectful behavior towards team members
Returns team members with respect. You do your job for free. Team members are: moderators, mechanics, developers, supporters and team drivers.

§7 Right to issue instructions
@Admin, @Moderator or otherwise authorized @Team members have full authority to issue instructions. Refusing an instruction may result in a mute, kick, or ban.
§7.2.1 Violation without reference to a rule
If there is no suitable rule in an individual case, the team and/or the moderator has the right, after consultation with the team, to choose an appropriate sanction.
§7.2.2 Requirement of particular severity or mildness in individual cases
If the moderator deems it necessary in individual cases, he can, after consultation with the team, impose a harder or a milder punishment for a first offence, which is intended for this offence.
In particularly serious cases, an immediate permanent ban can also be carried out in the following paragraphs without a warning or mute being issued to a user: § 1, § 2, § 4.1
§7.3 In case of doubt
In case of doubtful evidence, if the statement of a moderator stands against the statement of a user, the moderator's statement will be acted upon. Assumptions and emotional compromises are excluded from this.
§8 Advertising
Advertising for your YouTube channel, Instagram, TikTok and other social channels may only be carried out in 🤝│self-promo or by arrangement via ticket.
Advertising for other Discord servers is excluded and prohibited. Also prohibited is the dissemination of content in which the disseminator gains an advantage through the dissemination.

§9 Sales
Due to the new Platforms Tax Transparency Act (PStTG), which came into force on January 1, 2023, it is no longer permitted to offer goods or services directly for sale/sale in #Sell, or to conduct sales talks lead.
However, it is permitted to post eBay links with an appropriate caption. Texts or images may no longer be posted there.

§10 Ping misuse
The misuse or excessive use of a ping function is punishable by law. This applies to all types of pings. Team pings must always be carried out with reference to the matter and reason.

§11 Spamming
Spamming of messages is prohibited.

§12 Malware and hacks
Spreading malware and hacking is prohibited. This applies in particular but not exclusively to malware of all kinds.

§13 Multiaccounts
Owning or using multiple accounts on our server is prohibited.
1st offense: permanent ban
§13.1 If a user uses multiple accounts to avoid a fine, this will be punished with a higher penalty than just the possession. Penalties apply to all accounts. The punishment is quadrupled for each further offense.

§14 Conflicts
Please clarify private problems and conflicts with other users privately. Bring in a team member for advice if necessary.

§15 Personal data
The public exchange of private data is prohibited. This rule is for your own protection.

Please be polite, friendly and respectful to everyone on the server. MTB Syndicate should be a place to linger, to make contacts and to get help on everything to do with MTB.

Sanctions can result in a loss of rank. Unfortunately, we cannot replace the ranks in this case, so we ask for your understanding.
A mute, warning, kick or ban is never unfounded.
A warning or mute is a means of moderation to point out a mistake and to ask you to carefully study the rules again.
In particularly serious cases, the MTB-G team can also initiate a user report to the Discord Trust and Safety team. This can then have far-reaching consequences for the user beyond the MTB-G server.
